Stamp turns your daily steps and walks into territory on a map. This page explains what data we handle and why.
What other players can see
Other players, including members of your groups, never see your routes. Maps only show hex colours and owners, never a line.
Your captures appear to others with a delay of 15 minutes, so nobody can follow you live.
You can set up to 3 privacy zones (radius 200-500 m), for example around home or work. Inside a zone others see "Anonymous player". Your captures still count.
Your home district is stored only as a district code. We never store a home address.
Steps are counted without GPS. Location is used only while you are actively walking a loop.
A group admin at a company never sees individual locations.
Data we process
Account details (sign-in identifier, username, colour), step counts, walk and capture data, group membership, settings, and a device push token if you allow notifications. We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Processors
Cloudflare: hosting, database and storage of the Stamp service.
RevenueCat: subscription management (Stamp Plus).
Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store payments and push notifications.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in the app; see Delete account. Your personal data is then removed.
